- For Bati
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1/4 cup Gram flour (Besan)
- 1/2 tsp Carom
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Papad Khar (Alkaline Salt)
- 4 tbsp Ghee
- as required Lukewarm water
- For Panchmel Dal
- 1/2 cup Mix Dal
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt (as per taste)
- For tempering
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 3 Tomatoes
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 inch "piece of Ginger
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Kastoori methi
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- as required Chopped Coriander to garnish
- For Instant Green Chili Pickle
- 7-8 green chillies (cut into long pieces)
- 2 tbsp Mustard oil
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 Tsp Fennel
- 1 tsp Curd
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
- as per taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
Instructions to make to make Dal Bati with instant Green Chilli Pickle
- For Bati
In a mixing bowl add Flour, Besan, Salt, Carom and Ghee
- In another bowl add Alkaline Salt and a Tsp of water.

- Then mix in flour mixture.
Knead the dough with water as needed.
- Dough divided into 7 to 8 portion and make a balls. Now preheat the oven at 200 ° C for 10 minutes.

- Then bake the bati for 20 to 25 minutes.
Now press the bati lightly and dip it in ghee and keep it for 5 to 7 minutes.

- For Panchmel Dal
1/2 cup all pulses in equal quantity (moong dhuli dal, urad dal, arhar dal, chana dal and masoor dhuli dal) Soak the lentils for one hour.
- Now add 3 cups of water, salt and turmeric in the cooker and boil it. Give one whistle on high heat then give 2 whistles on low heat.

- Make tomato, green chilli and ginger paste.

- Put ghee in the vessel and heat it. Now add cumin,when it cracked.

- Then add tomato paste and fry. When the spices start leaving the oil, add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, Kastoori methi and mix asafoetida in one spoon of water.When masala leave the ghee.


- Add lentils and boil for 2 to 4 minutes. Turn off the gas, then add Garam masala, Lemon juice and Green coriander and mix.


- For Instant Green Chili Pickle
Heat the oil. add fennel and asafoetida.
- When the aroma of the spices started coming.Then add salt, turmeric and red chilli and mix. Add curd and turn off the gas.


- Bati, panchmel dal and chilli pickle is ready.
